Designed for members and led by the profession, this peer-reviewed conference provides a dedicated space to address the specific concerns, insights, and challenges facing general practice today.

This one-day interactive course has been designed for those planning to take the AKT component of the MRCGP. It will assist with your exam preparation and revision for the MRCGP AKT examination, focusing on high yield and difficult curriculum topics, including the topics trainees often forget to include in their revision and help with your exam technique.

Thrive in First5 is a new programme designed to support GPs in their first five years post-qualification. Led by an experienced GP coach, it offers workshops with practical tools and techniques, short webinars throughout the year, an annual networking event, and ongoing peer support via a closed WhatsApp group.
The course runs online across three half-day sessions (09:00–13:00) on Friday 7 August, Friday 21 August, and Friday 4 September 2026.
This webinar covers factors that can contribute to difficult situations and puts forward strategies for working with patients towards an appropriate solution.
This open-to-all training course aims to improve your consultation skills and as a result pass your SCA. The course offers interactive sessions with experienced trainers and examiners, a highlight being Prof. Roger Neighbour, a renowned teacher on the skills of communication within the GP consultation.
Connect with fellow GPs, trainees, and students at this full-day conference, designed to bring together members and non-members from across the faculty area. Hear from inspiring speakers, take part in interactive sessions, and share ideas with colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. The day will conclude by celebrating awards and achievements within the local faculty.
