RCGP Patient Groups
Patients are at the heart of all our activity and the hub of healthcare. Their viewpoint is an important part of the development of general practice.
The aims of the College's Patient Groups are to:
- promote partnership between patients and general practitioners
- address patient concerns and needs
- encourage and support the RCGP and its members to involve patients in their own care.
The College has one College-wide patient group and a virtual network in each of the Devolved Nations that share similar aims, values and goals. The groups work in line with our objectives and strategy.
