First5 Bytesize: Appraisal Made Easy

Join us for an afternoon of getting the most from your appraisal. We look at tips on how you should prepare, how appraisal has changed since covid, toolkits and much more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker who has been an appraisal lead for NHS England and NHS Improvement North West since 2008. This event is aimed at new GPs, however, all GPs welcome to attend this event.

Mersey Faculty Registrar Social - Chester Riverboat, Pie, Mash & Pub Quiz Night

We would like to invite Mersey Faculty GP Registrars to join us onboard the Lady Diana riverboat as we cruise the river Dee in Chester. On board each guest will be greeted with a reception drink before departure and given a token for an additional drink to be redeemed at the bar. Once underway we will be served a pie and mash supper before we launch into our pub quiz, with some prizes to be won. Free for Registrars, £10 for additional guest.

Walking Tour & Lunch: Later Career & Retired Members

RCGP would like to invite our LCARM members to join us to explore Belfast's exciting medical history, with a 'Diseases & Drs' walking tour of the city centre. This exciting 90 minute tour tells of the first hospital in Belfast, Victorian anti-vaxxers, the detrimental impact of eating sewage polluted seafood, and how working in the linen mills could wreck your lungs, rot your feet and cut off your arm. Following the tour, you are invited to join us for a two-course meal at Home restaurant.

Child & adult safeguarding: level 3 | Online

This RCGP Level 3 safeguarding course is for any GP practising in England. As GPs, we care for both children and adults and the course reflects this, covering child and adult safeguarding topics – individually and jointly. The course will be based around practical considerations for busy frontline GPs. There will be plenty of time for questions throughout the day. 4.5 CPD points for this course.
