Mersey Faculty Board - November 2026

Our Faculty Board meets quarterly (February, June, September, and November), primarily online. It comprises GP volunteers, lay representatives, and members from groups like First5 and GP registrars. Volunteers bring insights, share local updates, and shape general practice via feeding in to National Council Meetings. We encourage local GPs to join the Mersey Faculty and contribute actively.

Learn and Connect: CPR Update/Refresher, Warrington, 9.30am

You are invited to join our CPR Update/Refresher course taking place in Warrington. A Learn and Connect event that will provide you with an update on basic life support, including a certificate for both adult and children, in accordance with UK resuscitation guidelines 2025, while also offering the opportunity to meet other local GPs. Active Bystander Training

Witnessing verbal and physical abuse, discrimination, racism and micro-aggression effects everyone! This session has been developed to support ALL members of the Primary Care Team. Learn & Connect: 6-8 week baby check, Warrington, 9.00am

This session will be beneficial for all GPs who deliver baby checks in the surgery as well as GP registrars and newly qualified GPs who have not had formal paediatric training. During the session we will look at The Healthy Child Programme, the 6-8 week check, screening, what to do when things go wrong, and common reasons to refer.
