Appraisal Made Easy - September 2026

Join us for an afternoon of getting the most from your appraisal. We look at tips on how you should prepare, how appraisal has changed since covid, toolkits and much more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker who has been an appraisal lead for NHS England and NHS Improvement North West since 2008. This event is aimed at new GPs, however, all GPs welcome to attend this event.

North East Scotland Meet and Connect Orkney 2026

Join the RCGP North East Scotland Faculty for a full-day Learn and Connect event at The Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall, Orkney, on Saturday 5 September 2026. The day will include RCGP and Faculty updates, educational sessions, lunch and networking, and sessions with secondary care specialists, including Dr Shelagh Parkinson, Consultant Paediatrician. The event is part of the Faculty’s work to strengthen links with members and GP colleagues across the North East Scotland Faculty area, including remote and rural communities.

Minor Surgery Skills | Joint Injections | London

This highly practical, joint injection course is aimed at those working with musculoskeletal patients who would like to improve their assessment, diagnosis and management of the conditions, including the role of, the theory behind and practical use of corticosteroid joint and soft tissue injections. RCGP South East Wales Faculty Board Meeting - September 2026

Our Faculty Board meets quarterly (February, June, September, and November), primarily online. It comprises GP volunteers, lay representatives, and members from groups like First5 and GP registrars. Volunteers bring insights, share local updates, and shape general practice. The board represents local views at RCGP Wales and Council meetings. We encourage local GPs to join and contribute actively.
