Publication date: 10 June 2024
Professor Kamila Hawthorne, Chair of the Royal College of GPs, said: "Our hearts go out to GP Dr Clare Bailey, her four children, and the wider Mosley and Bailey families on their devastating loss.
"Dr Michael Mosley was an outstanding communicator whose easy, affable style encouraged millions of people to take an interest in their health and the 'everyday' steps that would help them live healthier lives. He had a huge impact, and his work will live on.
"Our College mourns his loss, as will the many, many people who have benefited and continue to benefit from his work. His family, friends and colleagues are all in our thoughts at this sad and difficult time."
