RCGP Wales - Joint Injection 18 March 2025

This 1-day Joint Injection course is aimed at practitioners working with musculoskeletal patients who would like to improve their assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including the role of, the theory behind and practical use of corticosteroid joint and soft tissue injections. The course is suitable for all skill levels. This is a highly practical course and consists of a series of short and punchy lectures in the morning, followed by hands-on demonstrations and supervised practice for the remainder of the day.

What is coaching, and what does it offer GPs? Heather Shearer has a PhD in Psychology and has been a Senior Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, working with GPs for over five years. This interactive, discussion-based session will explore what coaching is and is not and how it might help GPs and GP registrars from across Angus, North Fife, Perth, and Tayside in their day-to-day work.
