New Appraisal Portfolio offer for members

The RCGP is pleased to announce changes to our appraisal and revalidation support for members. In particular these changes will benefit and strengthen our offer for First5s at this difficult time.

The changes build on our successful development of a new Trainee Portfolio. In partnership with FourteenFish, over the last few years we have developed and rolled out a new, more intuitive Trainee Portfolio platform that improves our support for trainees. Following the successful migration of 25,000 active users and almost three million portfolio data items, all trainees across the UK are now using this new Trainee Portfolio, and we have been receiving positive feedback from users.

The new offer builds on the existing FourteenFish Appraisal Toolkit, and we are pleased to announce that from today, all RCGP members will receive a 30% discount on that FourteenFish Appraisal Toolkit. This brings the price down from £42 per year to £29.40 (inc VAT). If you're already a FourteenFish customer then the discount will be applied automatically the next time your annual subscription is taken. It's free to try FourteenFish, so you can take a look at their Appraisal Toolkit before deciding whether it's right for you.

Furthermore, we are very pleased to announce that from today all GP trainees who gain their CCT will be given a free FourteenFish Appraisal Toolkit subscription for the duration of their First5 provided that they maintain their RCGP membership. This means that as trainees complete their training, they will be able to seamlessly move from their Trainee Portfolio to the FourteenFish Appraisal Toolkit, and those transferring from AiT to First5 will receive this as an additional benefit of their membership. Again this free subscription will be applied automatically.

On behalf of the College and FourteenFish, we hope that this offer will be a significant boost for our members, particularly when the pandemic is creating even greater challenges and pressures in caring for your patients and communities.

If you have any questions, please do contact us on membership.services@rcgp.org.uk.

Thank you again for your huge contribution to the COVID vaccination programme and for keeping general practice up and running during the pandemic.
