Heritage special interest group

The Heritage member interest group provides a forum for interested members to come together and guide us in our work related to the historical activity of the RCGP and the history and development of general practice.

Our aim

The Heritage group’s aim is to recognise that heritage is not only about reflecting on the past, but also about using those insights to shape the future. We believe that by understanding and applying the lessons learned, heritage plays a vital role in the work of a modern College dedicated to supporting its members.

Current work

The group is newly created, and we are in the process of producing a workplan. Participation from members is encouraged to help shape the direction and impact of the group.

As a newly established group, we are in the early stages of creating a comprehensive workplan that will outline our objectives and strategies. To achieve this, we strongly encourage active participation from all members.
